We run a series of BTEC courses which offer students the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a course which is delivered in a vocational context. The aim of the courses is to build in each student confidence, skills and motivation through a continually assessed methodology. Every student knows their progress towards the end qualification at every stage of the two years.
The vocational learning style is completely different from the more traditional routes. The students are asked to research topics and present their results in a wide variety of ways, which are then assessed by the course tutor. They are given feedback on their performance and told how they could improve their level of attainment.
The BTEC courses we offer are fully recognised as holding equivalences to GCSEs and are respected by employers, professional institutions and higher educational establishments alike.
The three courses we currently run are Sport, Health and Social Care, Travel and Tourism.
